There’s something timeless about Maymont in the fall — the way the gardens glow with warm light, the quiet bridges that seem to carry you into another world, and the sound of water spilling over the rocks at the waterfall. It was the perfect setting to capture Ava’s senior portraits: playful, bold, and beautifully her.
From the start, Ava brought such vibrant energy to the session. Her pink floral dress paired with her striking magenta hair created a dreamlike contrast against the lush greenery and rustic textures of the park. Every corner of Maymont — from the stone grottos to the curved wooden bridges — gave us a canvas that felt incredibly cinematic.
One of my favorite moments was on the bridge, with sunlight breaking through the trees behind her. Ava’s dress catching the light and creating a scene that felt almost like a still frame from a film. Later, as we moved toward the waterfall, the backdrop shifted to something grander and more dramatic — Ava standing strong, framed by nature’s scale and beauty
